Venus Optics Laowa 9mm f / 2.8 Zero-D now also in version with Micro 4/3 mount
The Venus Optics Laowa 9mm f / 2.8 Zero-D lens is one of the most interesting wide-angle lenses. Miniature size and light weight are ideal for mirrorless cameras and are suitable for use with suspensions.
The new DL mount allows you to attach this impressive lens to the DJI Inspire 2 with the X7 gimbal, making it the widest lens available for the drone.
The MFT mount is now also available for use on your MFT cameras, such as the BMPCC 4K.
2 aspherical elements plus 3 elements with ultra low dispersion successfully correct chromatic aberration, reducing distortion to zero, and provide excellent sharpness from corner to corner.
This fascinating lens provides ultra wide-angle coverage up to a viewing angle of 113 °, and despite a very wide angle, it is almost devoid of distortion.
Note: this is NOT a full-frame lens.
Fuji X, Sony E, Canon EF-M, DJI DL and MFT mounts are available.
The tiny size and lightweight design make this lens a permanent resident in the photographer’s bag. In addition, the kit includes a lens-shaped lens hood to reduce glare even when working in strong lighting conditions. Its sleek and lightweight design blends well with mirrorless cameras and is ideal for everyday shooting as well as for use on suspensions.
